The first JIHO certification exam in Argentina will be held on September 6th, as part of Intersec Buenos Aires 2024.
JIHO is a non-profit initiative driven by Ibero-American occupational hygienists aimed at obtaining and maintaining a certification scheme for Occupational Hygiene Competencies recognized by the International Occupational Hygiene Association (IOHA).
The first JIHO certification exam in Argentina will be held on September 6th, 2024, at La Rural.
To be eligible to take the exam, candidates must meet specific requirements, including a combination of formal education in occupational hygiene, professional experience, references, and passing a Spanish-language exam. Once the requirements are met, JIHO grants the HOC certification, which must be periodically renewed to remain active, implying compliance with continuing education requirements and updates in occupational hygiene practice.
Both the review of the documentation (application to take the exam) and the right to take the exam once the candidate is approved have a cost that varies according to the candidate's employment.
